* Illuminates and remains on there is a fault with the air bag module or it has lost a feed or an earth.
* Flashes constantly there is a fault with the air bag clock spring.
* Flashes once there is a fault with the Drivers air bag
* Flashes twice there is a fault with the Passengers air bag
* Flashes four times there is a fault with the seat belt pretensioners.
* Flashes five times there is a fault with the drivers side air bag.
* Flashes six times there is a fault with the passengers side air bag.
The most common air bag fault is: The light flashes four times indicating a fault with the pre-tensioners, with the ignition off, disconnect the pre-tensioners yellow connectors which are usually positioned under or very near the seats. Wait a couple of minutes and then re-connect them. What happens is sometimes the circuit get a spike and illuminates the light, disconnecting then resets the system and the light goes out..
