This is the Power Step running boards. They are automated running boards for all makes and models of your truck, whether it is a Toyota, Ford, Chevrolet, Dodge and Nissan. What you will notice here is the Power Steps are in the closed position, which will allow you full ground clearance between your vehicle and the ground. So, if you do any kind of off-road activity - hunting, fishing, ranching, farming - your boards will be up out of the way, maintaining full ground clearance. As soon as I open up the door, as you will see, the boards down. They deploy in about 1 seconds time. It provides me with a true stairstep in and out of the vehicle. Close the door, and you will notice the boards will go away. As soon as I am ready to get out of the car, open the door, my boards are here, ready for me.

The boards have a 600-lb load rating, so they will not go anywhere. The boards operate independently, front and rear door. Each side will operate independently, so the passengers side is not deploying when the drivers side deploys. Just close the door again and the boards are up out of the way.
